ATTENTION ALL:
As you all know (and are hopefully excited about!), October is upon us. Or as I like to call it, the only month worthy of existence. To celebrate this wondrous occasion, I plan to write a blog each day of October, celebrating different horror movies, horror comedies, and other movies I find flat-out frightening.
Stay tuned to Blog Time with Benny Mac for this epic celebration of all things creepy!

Why Wrestling Matters.
Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, The Rock, John Cena... These four names alone have inspired more hope, dread, joy, and sadness in the lives of Americans than any politician, movie star, or military man.
Pro wrestling is more than just big, sweaty, men rolling around a mat whilst wearing flamboyant clothing. It's art, It's sport, It's interactive. It's a 40 plus year story of power and struggle, of the weak and the mighty.
Spanning multiple generations, pro wrestling, has given it's often die-hard fans an opportunity to live out their fantasies through the men (and women)that compete in that squared circle. Through every match, every promo, every loss and every victory, the fans feel it all.
Haters may say "Wrestling is fixed, they already know the ending." yeah, so... the same can be said for Twilight and that doesn't stop thousands of people from flocking to the theater. "Yeah, but it's fake." Really... how about you let Kurt Angle German suplex you a few times then say that (if your still able).
Pro wrestling is a vast universe made up of millions of fans who are willing to stop worrying about life for 2 hours a week and just be happy and entertained. And that's the bottom line... cause Benny Mac said so!

Really...
Okay, so I really didn't want to start off my 1st blog with anger & complaining, but due to the modern world we live in that's a little hard to do (and to quote the great movie "Network") "I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it any more!
It has been 10 years since those 2 towers fell on 9/11, 10 years since the world was in a state of quasi-happy
normality. During the past decade, the world has come from being reality centered to being overcome with as much fake as it can get it's grubby hands on. Long gone are the days of the long haired grunge rockers Nirvana, our radios are now filled with the likes of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga & more auto-tuning than is needed in any one's lifetime.
On the big screen we have come from seeing the gritty under dog heroes like John McClane ( Die Hard) to larger than life heroes like Capt. Jack Sparrow and Iron Man.
The world has become a "I want it now" society no longer satisfied with the small things in life. Now it's not my place to decide how people think, although that won't stop me from trying, but it is my belief that the word in general just needs to take a big hand full of chill pills and SLOW DOWN.
We are only given a few years on this big blue planet so why waste it rushing around all the time. so do this for me. On the count of three slowly inhale through your nose and blow out of the mouth. Are you ready?
1...2...3...
Now doesn't that feel better (stupid question, of course you do). Now get turn off the 24 hr. news, get off the couch and enjoy the day, before your time is up.
